«Подорожі за знаннями» вихідців України до Західної Європи як засіб засвоєння нових освітніх і культурних практик (XV-XVII ст.)

Abstract

Анотація. Метою дослідження є висвітлення феномену освітньої подорожі як складової навчального процесу в історії українських земель доби Відродження. Методологія. У процесі дослідження було обрано шлях домінування принципів і методів пізнання, вибір яких визначався підходами до розкриття теми, поставленими завданнями та специфікою джерел. Було використано принципи історизму та об’єктивності через використання порівняльно-історичного, ретроспективного, історико-хронологічного методів та методу цілісності джерела. В рамках вивчення історії формування українського Ренесансу використані загальнонаукові методи дослідження – такі як індукція та дедукція. Біографічний метод дозволив дослідити головні особливості у взаємодії вітчизняної та європейської культури через призму особистого досвіду видатних представників українського гуманізму. Наукова новизна. Проаналізовано освітню компоненту життя Великого князівства Литовського та Королівства Польського (з 1569 року – Речі Посполитої) до складу яких у зазначений період входили деякі українські землі, висвітлено вплив ордену єзуїтів на формування нової парадигми освіти. Доведено, що хоча територія Речі Посполитої і була частиною загальноєвропейського культурного і освітнього просторів, процес поширення нових освітніх форм тут був дещо повільнішим. Це, у свою чергу, сприяло розвитку “цілеспрямованого” освітнього туризму української молоді. Результати дослідження. В умовах сьогодення, коли академічна мобільність є не просто однією з головних ознак сучасного глобалізованого світу, але і ресурсом розвитку як окремих індивідів, так і великих соціальних груп, досвід минулого не втратив як свого пізнавального, так і практичного значення. Розвиток науки, технологій, освіти в сучасній Україні (як і в будь якій країні, що бажає належати до “цивілізованого світу”) є неможливим без міграційних процесів, кооперативних зв’язків із представниками інших культур. Саме мобільність, як ознака людини, є необхідною умовою успішного “вписування” індивіда у сучасний світ. І в цьому сенсі, дослідження феномену “подорожей за знаннями” може бути важливим для пошуку шляхів ефективної освітньої політики у майбутньому. Abstract.The purpose of the study is to highlight the phenomenon of educational travel as a component of the educational process in the history of Ukrainian Renaissance lands. Methodology. In the research process, the path of dominance of the principles and methods of knowledge was chosen, the choice of which was determined by the approaches to the disclosure of the topic, the tasks set, and the specifics of the sources. The principles of historicism and objectivity were used through the use of comparative-historical, retrospective, historical-chronological methods and the method of source integrity. As part of the study of the history of the formation of the Ukrainian Renaissance, general scientific research methods are used, such as induction and deduction. The biographical method made it possible to investigate the main features of the interaction of national and European culture through the prism of the personal experience of outstanding representatives of Ukrainian humanism. Scientific novelty. The educational component of the life of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland (since 1569 – the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth), which in the specified period included some Ukrainian lands, is analyzed, the influence of the Jesuit order on the formation of a new paradigm of education is highlighted. t has been proven that although the territory of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was part of the pan-European cultural and educational space, the process of spreading new educational forms here was somewhat slower. This, in turn, contributed to the development of “targeted” educational tourism for Ukrainian youth. Research results. In today’s conditions, when academic mobility is not only one of the main features of the modern globalized world, but also a resource for the development of both individuals and large social groups, the experience of the past has not lost its cognitive and practical significance. The development of science, technology, and education in modern Ukraine (as well as in any country that wants to belong to the “civilized world”) is impossible without migration processes and cooperative ties with representatives of other cultures. It is mobility, as a characteristic of a person, that is a necessary condition for the successful “fitting” of an individual into the modern world. And in this, the study of the phenomenon of “travels for knowledge” can be important for finding ways of effective educational policy in the future.
