Innovative Approaches to the Development of Higher Education in the Cross-border Space of Ukraine and Romania

Abstract

Modern technologies have entered our everyday lives, shaping the way we interact with the world, communicate with each other and, most importantly, learn. The innovative development path of border regions requires appropriate changes in the field of higher education. Transformations in this area should be aimed at educating a competent and knowledgeable specialist, who corresponds to the level of development of the society and the requirements of employers. A necessary condition for this is the establishment of active tripartite interaction to coordinate interests between higher education institutions (HEIs), modern business (employers) and government bodies at all levels, both in the border region and between border regions of countries sharing a common border.
