Актуальність обраної теми вбачається в тому, що Успішність переходу до ринкової економіки значною мірою залежить від ефективності функціонування великої кількості багатоступеневих організацій, фірм та підприємств із численним внутрішнім розгалуженням та поділом на відділи, департаменти. Продуктивна діяльність останніх, у свою чергу, залежить безпосередньо від тих, хто управляє ними, тобто менеджерів. Професійний менеджер оперативно справляється з усіма функціями, що виникають в управлінській діяльності. Тому сучасне суспільство потребує професійних менеджерів. The personality of the manager is extremely important for managerial activities, because it is his individual and psychological properties that will determine how the tasks that will be presented to him will be solved, whether he will prove himself to be a responsible, proactive, independent worker, whether he will be able to get out of difficult and unusual situations, whether he will make every effort for success, whether he will be able to interest and organize others to work together for the common good. The relevance of the chosen topic can be seen in the fact that the success of the transition to a market economy largely depends on the effectiveness of the functioning of a large number of multi-level organizations, firms and enterprises with numerous internal branches and division into divisions and departments. The productive activity of the latter, in turn, depends directly on those who manage them, that is, managers. A professional manager promptly copes with all the functions that arise in management activities. Therefore, modern society needs professional managers.
