Abstract

This research examines the innovation clusters role in economic system, which leads to increased competitiveness of the country. Innovation cluster characteristic are given and it is defined as one of the most effective forms of innovation processes organization and implementation. The role of innovation clusters in global value chains and the positive impact on business development are determined. There are also given examples of cluster development systemic effects on the economy of the region and the country.
