The introduction of innovative forms of education, in particular, dual education, is important for the development of modern education and the economy, as it is aimed at combining theoretical training in educational institutions with practical training at enterprises. Acquiring education in a dual education form helps students gain practical experience, improve the quality of specialist training, establish a close connection between education and business, promotes employment, increases student motivation, and stimulates the introduction of innovations. Dual education contributes to the training of high-quality specialists ready to work in modern conditions, and gives students the opportunity not only to gain knowledge, but also to become part of the professional community while studying. The introduction of dual education has a significant positive impact on both students and society, business and the economy as a whole. The main positive results of this process are: improving the quality of education; reducing the gap between theoretical knowledge provided by higher education institutions and practical skills needed in the labor market; ensuring high chances for employment; improving cooperation between business and education; stimulation of economic development through the training of qualified workers; increase of applicants' interest in education; development of soft skills; reducing the financial burden on the state and families; increasing loyalty and staff retention. Since grammar is an important and indispensable part of language learning and it is impossible to make oneself understood or comprehend others without a correctly structured and grammatically accurate message, then grammar teaching methodology is of particular importance in the foreign language acquisition process and should be given special attention. In the sphere of ESP studying, the goal of which is the formation of students’ professional target language communicative competence, students should be taught grammar from the perspective of how to use it to achieve a specific communicative goal. Thus, the grammatical competence acquisition of ESP students should be focused on how to use grammatical rules for communicative purposes to satisfy professional needs, rather than just memorizing or drilling them with subsequent written exercises in isolation from meaningful context. The author of the present article discusses different approaches to grammar teaching, specifies the communicative grammar teaching ideas and principles, reveals the ways of communicative approach to grammar teaching application within the scope of studying English for Specific Purposes by students majoring in Economics as well as analyzes specific activities that facilitate teaching grammar communicatively in ESP classes. Learners’ speaking proficiency is viewed as one of the most crucial skills by both teachers and learners and is measured in terms of the ability to carry out target language conversation. The author of the present article tries to analyze modern innovative technologies aimed at the formation and improvement of students’ foreign language speaking proficiency for professional purposes, determine efficient methods for learners’ communicative competence enhancement in the field of ESP studying, as well as adapt most popular ESL speaking activities to ESP classes. Research shows that communicative language teaching, based on true-to-life situations that require communication and collaborative approach serve best to promote speaking activities, specifying pair work and groupwork as the most efficient methods focused on improving students’ communicative competences. The author distinguishes class research, linear dialogue, pyramid discussion, information gap, unfilled crossword and role-play as some of the fruitful activities stimulating speaking practices in an ESP class, provides general recommendations for ESP teachers to promote students’ target language communication. Possible suggestions to encourage students’ interaction include organization of ESP class desks in a way that fosters learners’ cooperation; allocating a percentage of the final grade to speaking skill as well as continuous assessing of students’ speaking endeavours; creating a rich learning environment with authentic materials, implementing collaborative learning and shared knowledge strategies; teaching sentence starters and communicative scripts for common language functions and professional situations; reducing teacher speaking time and increasing students’ speaking time; always giving positive feedback to learners’ speaking endeavours; diagnosing difficulties that students encounter and providing additional practice to overcome them. В умовах воєнного стану та поширення коронавірусної інфекції COVID-19 якісна підготовка фахівців для господарського комплексу України потребує пошуку інноваційних систем навчання студентів, спрямованих на підвищення ефективності їхнього професійного становлення та зростання. Проблема. Науково-дослідна робота студентів на здобуття майбутнього фаху як неодмінна складова освітнього процесу потребує визначення її ролі у формуванні компетенцій майбутнього фахівця, які передбачають не тільки опанування професійними навичками, але й набуття комунікативних компетенцій, що підтверджує актуальність дослідження. Методи. У статті використано законодавство України, публікації вітчизняних із закордонних науковців за темою дослідження. Для виконання поставлених завдань й досягнення мети застосовано методи аналізу та синтезу, систематизації, опитування й спостереження. Результати. На основі аналізу організації науково-дослідної роботи студентів у Чернівецькому торговельно-економічному інституті Державного торговельно-економічного університету встановлено головні завдання НДР. Систематизація пропозицій і рекомендацій роботодавців дала змогу виокремити основні складові (групи) універсальних компетенцій. Аналіз працевлаштування випускників ЧТЕІ ДТЕУ, спостереження за їх адаптацією на підприємствах і професійним зростанням сприяло визначенню найефективніших форм науково-дослідної роботи студентів у інституті. Висновок. На прикладі організації науководослідної роботи студентів ЧТЕІ ДТЕУ підтверджено уніфікацію освітніх результатів і роль науково-дослідної роботи як вагомого інструменту у процесі формування універсальних компетенцій майбутнього фахівця. Доведено, що формування універсальних компетенцій у студентів шляхом залучення їх до науково-дослідної роботи є важливим засобом підготовки інноваційних кадрів для економіки. Introduction. Quality training of the experts for the Ukrainian economic complex requires the search of innovative training systems for the students aimed at improving the effectiveness of their professional development and growth in the conditions of martial law and the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19. Problem. The students’ scientific research aimed at obtaining future profession as an integral part of the educational process requires determining its role in the formation of the competencies of a future expert, which involve both mastering occupation-specific skills and acquiring communication competencies. Therefore, aforesaid confirms the relevance of this work. Methods. The legislation of Ukraine as well as the publications of both Ukrainian and foreign scientists on the topic of the research were used as part of the study. Methods of analysis and synthesis, systematization, questioning and observation were applied to fulfil the declared tasks and to accomplish the goal. Results. Based on an analysis of the student research organized at Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of The State University of Trade and Economics, the main tasks of the scientific research were established. Systematization of the proposals and recommendations of the employers made it possible to identify the main components (groups) of transferable skills. Analyzing the employment of the ChITE SUTE graduates and monitoring their adaptation at enterprises as well as professional growth contributed to determining the most effective forms of the students’ scientific research at the Institute. Conclusions. Based on the example of the student scientific research organized at the ChITE SUTE, the unification of educational results and the role of the scientific research as a significant tool in the process of forming the transferable skills by the future specialist were proved. The work confirmed that the formation of the transferable skills by the students through involving them in scientific research is one of the key means of training innovative personnel for the economy.
