На фоні цього значна увага міжнародної спільноти починає фокусуватись на концепції «зеленої» економіки, особливо в частині забезпечення сталості ресурсів, зокрема через заміну їх на відновлювальні. У дослідженні визначено необхідність переходу до «зеленої» економіки, відтворено у хронологічному порядку у яких міжнародних документах піднімалось питання щодо потреби в її запровадженні. Проаналізовано сутність даного поняття, визначено його відповідність встановленим цілям сталого розвитку. Виокремлено роль відновлюваних енергетичних ресурсів у «зеленій» економіці, як одного із ключових джерел забруднення навколишнього середовища в традиційній економіці. Досліджено еволюцію підходів до енергетичного переходу, охарактеризовано склад відновлювальних ресурсів у енергетиці. Проаналізовано динаміку зміни потужності сонячної енергії у світі, а також проведено паралель із загальним рівнем сонячної енергії, яку людство могло б використати для подолання наявних енергетичних криз. Визначено можливості використання сонячної енергії в рамках циркулярної економіки. Досліджено особливості отримання вітрової енергії та визначено її частку у всьому обсязі відновлювальної енергії. Проаналізовано динаміку зміни світової потужності вітрової енергетики, а також досліджено прогноз GWEC Market Intelligence щодо подальшого приросту потужностей вітрової енергетики. Визначено існуючі взаємозв’язки між інвестиціями та розвитком відновлювальної енергетики, а також встановлено економічну ефективність її використання, через попередження витрат, яких можна уникнути. Every year, more and more countries join the active search for ways to overcome crises related to climate change, pandemics and other development problems. Against this background, considerable attention of the international community begins to focus on the concept of a "green" economy, especially in terms of ensuring the sustainability of resources, in particular through their replacement with renewable ones. The study identified the need to transition to a "green" economy, reproduced in chronological order which international documents raised the issue of the need for its introduction. The essence of this concept was analyzed, and its compliance with the established goals of sustainable development was determined. The role of renewable energy resources in the "green" economy is singled out, as one of the key sources of environmental pollution in the traditional economy. The evolution of approaches to the energy transition was studied, the composition of renewable resources in the energy sector was characterized. The dynamics of changes in the power of solar energy in the world are analyzed, and a parallel is drawn with the general level of solar energy, which humanity could use to overcome the existing energy crises. The possibilities of using solar energy within the framework of the circular economy have been determined. The features of obtaining wind energy were studied and its share in the entire volume of renewable energy was determined. The dynamics of changes in the global wind energy capacity were analyzed, as well as the forecast of GWEC Market Intelligence regarding the further increase in wind energy capacity was investigated. The existing interrelationships between investments and the development of renewable energy are determined, and the economic efficiency of its use is established, due to the prevention of costs that can be avoided. Авторами всебічно розкрито особливості та характерні риси екологічно орієнтованих інвестицій, окреслено їх відмінність від інвестицій в інші сфери господарської діяльності. Досліджено механізм управління екологічним інвестуванням в Україні. Визначено основні державні органи, які здійснюють управління, реалізацію та контроль за виконанням екологічно орієнтованих інвестиційних проектів. Особлива увага приділена оцінці сучасного стану екологічного інвестування в Україні. Для поглибленого дослідження рівня екологічної привабливості економіки України, реалізації екологічних проектів авторами розглянуті міжнародні рейтинги за «Глобальним індексом зеленої економіки» - Global Green Economy Index (GGEI) та за «Індексом екологічної результативності 2014» (EPI). The article examines the existing theoretical framework of greening investment activity, the main approaches to the interpretation of the concept of "environmental investments" are systematized. The authors comprehensively show the features and characteristics of environmentally oriented investments, defined by their difference from traditional investments. The mechanism of management of environmental investments in Ukraine is investigated. The main state agencies responsible for managing, implementing, and monitoring the implementation of ecologically-oriented investment projects are identified. Special attention is paid to the assessment of the current state of environmental investments in Ukraine. For in-depth study of the environmental attractiveness of the Ukrainian economy, the implementation of environmental projects, authors examined the international rankings in the "Global index of the green economy - Global Green Economy Index (GGEI) and by the Index of environmental performance 2014" (EPI) . The article reveals the problematic aspects of attracting green investments, the policies that will change the situation for the better are proposed. As the results of the research it is proposed to deepen research on domestic institutional framework promoting the greening of innovative development of national economy under the condition of adequate political will.
