Abstract: The research aims at exploring western Ukrainian cross-border regions where many natural recreational resources, historical, cultural and architectural monuments, a developed transport infrastructure, strong ethnic ties and wide opportunities for tourism flows from the cross-border regions of neighboring countries are found. To achieve this goal, the authors studied foreign experience, in particular the processes of the creation and operation of clusters in Romania and Poland which helped to identify certain stages of development of tourism destinations based on a cluster approach. Comparison of the activities of already established tourism clusters in Ukraine and abroad has helped to establish a list of major business structures that might become a part of a cluster and be involved in the formation of a tourism destination. Based on an analysis of natural and recreational potential, and cultural and historical heritage in western Ukrainian cross-border regions, possible profiles of tourism destinations, and the interest of tourist and other enterprises to be brought together into tourism clusters, are determined, and this has been confirmed by a survey.</description>

Abstract: The authorities together with businesses need to create conditions for&#xD;
boosting the competitiveness of hotel and restaurant industry in Ukraine. This&#xD;
article aims at determining the influence of selected factors on the development&#xD;
of the hotel and tourism sector and building a model of this influence in terms of&#xD;
individual factor determinants. Such factors include the number of consumers of&#xD;
tourism services, competitive hotel and tourism enterprises, indicators of costs&#xD;
and profitability, socio-cultural preferences, political and legal relations, and&#xD;
demographic factors. By constructing a correlation matrix, an attempt was made&#xD;
to identify the strength of the relationship between the factors and their nature.&#xD;
The assessment of standardized regression coefficients made it possible to&#xD;
determine the contribution of each factor to the state of the hotel and tourism&#xD;
sector. The existence of a close relationship between socio-economic factors and&#xD;
the hotel and tourism sector of Ukraine is demonstrated.</description>

Abstract: Due to the positive influence on students’ learning outcomes, the&#xD;
interests of studying effective knowledge management has been risen recently.&#xD;
Developing and implementing effective strategies ensures to promote learning&#xD;
outcomes. By reviewing and examining various influence factors, this research&#xD;
study has predicted the major factors that may influence of learning outcomes in&#xD;
blended learning environment. A series of simulation experiments and factor&#xD;
analyses have been conducted in order to investigate collaboration during group&#xD;
learning process. The simulation model for blended learning environment&#xD;
employed in this research has drawn on the characteristics of the Structural&#xD;
Equation Model (SEM) of the blended learning process of 128 students. Both&#xD;
randomness of those student learning behaviors and the reaction to information&#xD;
overload have been considered during simulation modeling. The simulation&#xD;
model enables for greatly increasing statistical samples of student learning&#xD;
behavior analysis. Besides, this research has studied the impact of multiple&#xD;
factors to blended learning mode, these factors include: the size of learning&#xD;
group, the group composition according to previous performance, teaching&#xD;
material amount, and the teacher influence. Experimental results predict that the&#xD;
factors mentioned above can enhance collaborative interaction among students&#xD;
during writing and reading activity. The research results of the optimization&#xD;
restriction factors for blended learning environment achieved in this study can&#xD;
be useful reference for a teacher who are facing the similar challenges. The&#xD;
results of this paper can also be used to reveal and eliminate the problem of&#xD;
inefficient collaboration and poor student performance in blended learning&#xD;
environment. The model proposed in this paper can be integrated with most of&#xD;
decision support systems of universities.</description>

Abstract: The purpose of the academic paper is to study the new personnel management system within the conditions of&#xD;
external shocks (pandemic). The methodology is based on quantitative and qualitative methodology using indepth interview methods with the HR Project Director for Cement JSC “Podilsky Cement” and Director on Projects&#xD;
in the sphere of Cement Personnel, CRH Ukraine, content analysis of the company’s websites, statistical analysis&#xD;
of financial statements in order to determine the effectiveness of personnel management programs. The results&#xD;
prove that within the conditions of new social-economic reality through external shocks (pandemic) a new&#xD;
system of personnel management is formed, which through technology transforms the threats of management&#xD;
(hiring, employment) into opportunities for development and training, mentoring, internships by reducing staff&#xD;
turnover. Thus, the positive effect emerges of replacing the negative consequences of the virus spreading with&#xD;
the potential for human resources’ development through effective virtual communication. External shocks cause&#xD;
a change in the social variables of the organization through the transformation of values, motivation, efficiency&#xD;
of employees. Within the pandemic conditions, the value of the collective atmosphere for employees increases,&#xD;
which will have a medium-term effect in the form of increased financial performance of organizations. The&#xD;
practical significance of the results lies in the possibility of using the results in human resource management,&#xD;
namely the integration of technology into personnel management in order to establish virtual communications. El objetivo del trabajo académico es estudiar el nuevo sistema de gestión de personal en condiciones de choques&#xD;
externos (pandemia). La metodología se basa en una metodología cuantitativa y cualitativa que utiliza métodos&#xD;
de entrevista en profundidad con el Director de Proyectos de Recursos Humanos de Cemento JSC "Podilsky&#xD;
Cement" y el Director de Proyectos en el ámbito del personal de Cemento, CRH Ucrania, el análisis de contenido&#xD;
de los sitios web de la empresa, el análisis estadístico de los estados financieros con el fin de determinar la&#xD;
eficacia de los programas de gestión de personal. Los resultados demuestran que en las condiciones de la nueva&#xD;
realidad socio-económica a través de los choques externos (pandemia) se forma un nuevo sistema de gestión de&#xD;
personal, que a través de la tecnología transforma las amenazas de la gestión (contratación, empleo) en&#xD;
oportunidades de desarrollo y formación, tutoría, prácticas reduciendo la rotación de personal. Así, surge el&#xD;
efecto positivo de sustituir las consecuencias negativas de la propagación del virus por el potencial de desarrollo&#xD;
de los recursos humanos a través de una comunicación virtual eficaz. Los choques externos provocan un cambio&#xD;
en las variables sociales de la organización a través de la transformación de los valores, la motivación, la eficiencia&#xD;
de los empleados. Dentro de las condiciones de la pandemia, el valor del ambiente colectivo para los empleados&#xD;
aumenta, lo que tendrá un efecto a medio plazo en forma de aumento del rendimiento financiero de las&#xD;
organizaciones. La importancia práctica de los resultados radica en la posibilidad de utilizarlos en la gestión de&#xD;
los recursos humanos, es decir, la integración de la tecnología en la gestión del personal para establecer&#xD;
comunicaciones virtuales.</description>
